Reality is boring
...well, explanations about reality are often boring. Sorry about the mild clickbait.
Most systems, and us human meat sacks comprised within them, are far less nefarious and far more bland[1] than we prefer to think.
Mostly, we, and the systems we build, are simply responding to the incentives most rewarded by and within such systems.
I was going to better season this post, and make it more interesting, but that would be ironic, and we can't have fun spoiling my own arguments. ↩︎
