tl;dr

Basically, I don't want your personal information. Privacy and security are sexy. Such is my incredibly sophisticated position.

I don't use cookies, I minimize services, and I only collect the most scantily-clad of information to operate this minimalist site and a newsletter; your email and (optionally) your first name.

However, these words don't just apparate here magically; they're on Ghost's servers, which has its own privacy policy. You can find that and the other legal necessities down below, if you're so inclined.

Collection of Personal Information

As mentioned above, I collect and store as little information as possible. Some information, however, is automatically collected simply by visiting, including:

• Access logs: standard web server access logs from Ghost (our host, say that five times fast!) collected for debugging technical errors and to prevent misuse.
• Usage data: information collected by Ghost used to improve the quality of the services. This includes the location derived from Ghost by your IP address (I don't have access to your IP though), where you visit on the site and at what time, emails received, and email newsletter opens and clicks.
• Information you may provide: If you choose to sign up for the newsletter, you must provide me with your email (alternatively, feel free to use rss instead if you'd rather not provide your email). You may also choose to provide your first name on the newsletter form. If you email me directly at "chris" AT "oddlinks" DOT "com" you are also providing me any information included in such an email.

Your Rights & Consent

By visiting this site, you grant me the right to collect and process data neccessary for the website to function. By opting in to the newsletter, you grant me the right to store and process the personal information detailed above.

Third-Party Services
